This board is designed for surfing barrels specifically. Its narrow in the outline , thicker in the center and has volume pushed forward under the chest. Add to this a stretched out entry rocker giving it really good paddle power to get in early and under the lip. This board works great for really steep take offs and slabby waves. The board has slightly more tail rocker than normal keeping it nice and responsive in the pocket.
To be ridden around the same size as your shortboard or + 1 or 2 inches depending on the size of the waves you plan to surf it in. Also to be ridden 1/16 thicker than your regular shortboard.
in smaller sizes will work well in everyday waves.
Can be ridden as a thruster or a quad.
